This week was our first week back at school. We got put into 5 groups and we had to do a team challenge where we needed to work together to build a jigsaw puzzle as quickly as possible – it was a race! My team came first with a time of 15:46. The next team was close behind us with a time of 15:57!
After the challenge we had to brainstorm some strategies that helped us be successful, then we had to make a poster about it. The 5 teams came up with 5 posters. Our slogans for success are:
- Communicate to be great!
- Make a plan!
- Think on your feet, try a different way!
- Work together!
- Don’t give up!
The 5 puzzles were all similar and were all 100 pieces.
Most teams decided to split the work – some people worked on the edge of the puzzle, and others worked on the inside parts of the puzzle.
The puzzle is starting to come along!
Things got really frantic at the end as all the teams were trying to be the first to finish their puzzle!
